”Excelente. Como extranjeros, fue vivir una auténtica experiencia japonesa. Super amables y un desayuno delicioso. Está un poco retirado de los lugares turísticos pero vale totalmente la pena. El cuarto es muy espacioso y sientes mucha paz. ”

Only negative is the location, one stop with train from Kyoto station. Railway museum and Aquarium nearby, other than that not much more. Still a very solid option in Kyoto, especially for families with children that might need a larger room for an affordable price. ”
”Really nice stay that is quite close to the bamboo forest entrance. The owner ran the front desk and was so sweet. She left a heartfelt personalized card in our roommwith two perfect origami. The room was really great - she made us aware that there are limited views because of the location, but ymwe could still see the Arashkima forest from our balcony.
Nespresso in the room (huge plus!), high quality green tea with a beautiful tea set, and great japanese amenities.”

”It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel .”

We stayed for one night, and when it was time to leave, we wished we had stayed longer. The ryokan is truly beautiful, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Our room maid, whose name we regrettably cannot remember, was polite and made our visit feel truly special. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy, and the backyard very beautiful. We also enjoyed the outdoor bath a lot!...
”Very close to the To-Ji station, you could hear trains passing ( not so loud though). Walking distance from the To-Ji temple and Aeon Mall. Otherwise there was not much to see around the area. You need train, bus or Uber to move around.
The breakfast was not quite as expected, typical Asian I guess, soup, noodles etc. As in everywhere in Japan, there was almost no bread available.
But the staff were very friendly and polite.”
”Kenji was a very nice host and his "guest house English" speaking was wonderful!! It is a perfect location if you are looking to wake up early and walk to the bamboo forest, you can be one of the first people there. Kenji also gave us recommendations of places to visit in the area that you otherwise may not have known about. ”

"Parasta hotellissa oli sen "kylpyläosasto" eli Onsen.
Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
