”Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area.
There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.”

”A truly memorable stay. The suite was delightful. Would have preferred a separate shower cubicle as well as the bath. The service was excellent and dining was a joy. Would recommend this special hotel to all.”

”Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me.
Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble

”It was a lovely old pub and the food was ok, but the rooms weren’t very nice, it all needs a complete overhaul to the bedrooms, if they expect people to stay and give a good review. Lovely breakfast, but room was very poor.”

It was a little bit noisy having the window facing the garden Pub but it closed at a reasonable hour!”

”Everything was absolutely perfect! Village location that’s not too difficult to get to via car. Private car park directly across the street from the hotel. Bus stop right down the road in Crumplehorn. Full breakfast included in the rate. Spotless, comfy rooms with daily housekeeping. Teas and coffees, etc. in the room and refreshed daily with housekeeping. Highly recommend this hotel!”
