”It was everything expected for a reasonably price. Fast wifi, clean rooms and a great sized mini fridge. With a separate freezer unit, better than the expensive hotels. Pet friendly and friendly staff. We arrived late into the morning after work around 1 a.m. and staff was quick and polite to check us in. Hallways/stairways were a bit dirty, just needed a vaccuming. Overall very satisfied with the stay. ”

”The front desk staff were so kind and accommodating, and we’re very friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the gal at the front desk during our stay and talked with her frequently. She was kind and answered her many questions with Grace kindness, and empathy. The dining room was always very clean and every time I would come back from the wedding staff was always eager to greet and ask about my day. I would stay here again, simply because of the staff interactions alone.”

”This is, indeed, a motel for sportsmen. Our room had a backwoods theme, but was also prepped for folks coming in from a day in the backwoods. I think it’s being upgraded room by room (lots of building supplies blocking a couple of rooms), and kudos to whoever is taking in what seems to be a labor of love. The motel is not actually in Dorchester- don’t let Google misdirect you- and is quite isolated, so bring your own breakfast. But it’s also in the heart of the Driftless, which is a wonderful...
