”I arrived Sunday evening and checked in. Was not provided a wi fi password and couldn’t reach the host. Monday morning we had a horrific earthquake and I ran out of the room. Maybe 6 hours later, I was told that they will have a different room ready for me. I was very concerned about going back into the building as it had significant structural damage. Anyway that was the option they gave me. At about 0100 in the morning, my room had 3-4 inches of water. I got up to look and found the room next...

”When looking for options for this one-night stay, I had very little criteria (within budget, close to Paseo Milan and with off-street parking). I came across this location in the Palermo neighborhood for a very reasonable price. When I booked the stay, I was sent a message via Expedia with a link to pre-register. The online form was not terribly long but it required that I uploaded the front and back of my government issued ID. I completed the form about 15 minutes before arriving.
