”Great spot for staying a night or two directly in the Nara Park. This allowed us to get up early and have basically the whole park to ourselves before the tourist groups arrive. Would definititely recommend it!
The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect.”

”Just had the most relaxing stay at the Fufu Nara. The property is exquisite. The staff was absolutely lovely - some of the best service we’ve experienced on our travels. Breakfast and dinner were top notch (we were able to experience both the Japanese and Teppanyaki options - do both if you can).
Our room was spacious, immaculate and perfectly appointed. The onsen was so relaxing.
Nara Park is a short walk away.
We hope to return to the Nara Fufu on future trips! ”
”I was considering wether to stay next to Nara Park (and in a Ryokan) or here next to the train station. I was very satiesfied with my choise since it was easy to arrive, move around and the hotel reminded ryokan because of its style. ”Excellent service, best hotel on our two week trip in Japan (Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Nara). Best breakfast too and buffet type dinner was superb. Nice extra was those two (free!) massage chairs. Room was nice, rather large and quiet and bathroom was clean. ”
”It seems like a smaller business. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had a standard room with japanese style breakfast and dinner. Both were good experiencies. Also reserved the private bath which was nice with a good view.
Room was newly renovated and cozy.
Daily activities in Nara combined with the hotel was one of our best days in Japan. Would highly recommend”
”This property was self-checkin which was very convenient for us because we arrived from Kyoto fairly late at night. Although we were unable to leave our backpacks at the hotel (there was no onsight staff available for security), we conveniently stored all of bags at the station nearby for only a few US dollars while we walked around town and visited all the sites.

"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location.
Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance.
Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly.
Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing.
With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."
"Parasta hotellissa oli sen "kylpyläosasto" eli Onsen.
Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
