”Wonderful ocean front location. Gated security. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub after the day’s adventures. Just note the fees stated that will be paid onsite. Grateful I noticed other reviews stated air conditioning has a separate fee. That wasn’t easily clear in the listing. We went early June and didn’t need A/C for our visit. ”

”This location is centralized. You can walk to Coconut Grove and grab food to eat. Thankfully parking was included which is a hot commodity in Kona now. Glad I chose this location. ”

”Lauren’s and Nicks place was a perfect stay for us. It is up the mountain and away from any hustle and bustle. However close to many places to eat and beaches. Lauren and Nick were easily available to get a hold of. The place is small and perfect for us two and not having a TV was nice to have a break. If you are looking for a place that is in a peaceful place with lovely host this is a must! ”

”You can’t beat the view from the lanai off this sweet house. Set up was perfect for any excursion or just relax and enjoy right there in the pool. Close to shopping, lots of room wot the entire family, and real chill vibe. Would stay again.”

”Location is great, just 2 minute walk to the water and less than 10 for a swim. We enjoyed staying Kailau/Kona. The condo is well maintained as is the property. We had to call the property manager to reset the door code when we arrived ... it just took her 5 minutes to come and a few minutes to do it. This condo is small, particularly the kitchen (although the fridge is fullsize) and the bed is just okay, but it has a nice balcony to sit on. It worked well for us.”

”Loved the area! Convenient parking and all the needed amenities available. Our host Isaac did a wonderful job very accomodating;sending a description of the place, our communal rules and also added special areas of interest.Would stay there again!”

”Our stay was beautiful, accommodations were perfect for us! The condo was well stocked with essentials as well! Parking was definitely our only “issue” but as long as you get back early, you’ll be able to find a parking spot! Parking across the road isn’t bad either, traffic is really in that area.”

”This location is great for walking to the many coffee shops and restaurants in the downtown area of Kailua-Kona. There is also a cute little shopping mall, an ABC store, and a farmers market nearby. The main beach in town is a fairly easy walk from the condo, and the pool and hot tub on the property are also great. Inside, the condo has everything you need to relax and have fun: fully outfitted kitchen, comfy living room and bed, nice little patio area, beach chairs and umbrella, and a variety...

Waste of money

"This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night resort."

"Great week in a spacious villa with nice views over the golf course to ocean. Having breakfast in the balcony was unforgettable. The bed was confortable and all utilities we needed were available. We would choose this place again."
