”Nice, easy place to stay. Not too fancy but it have everything you need, except maybe a TV in the room or shampoo in the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again!”

”Reasonable accommodations at a reasonable price. Staff were helpful. Beds were clean. Has that certain mountain hostel smell that comes from snow and sweat and gear. Mind you, this was the summer. Overall happy enough with the accommodations. Enjoyed playing pool.”

”Was happy to make a last minute reservation to stay same evening, patio lounge was fun with live entertainment and really appreciated.being able to store our bikes in the bike room downstairs.”

”I love my stay here (eventhough my room mates made a lot of noise every night at around 10:30 as it's when they arrive but I didn't let it bother me as hey, I'm on vacation 😄). The hostel is in the town centre and is less than a 5-min walk to the nearest Roam transit bus station. The person at check in was very helpful and even carried my very heavy luggage up the stairs to the second floor where the rooms are. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

”My friend and I were supposed to sleep in a dormitory fr six people but we ended up in a loft for the two of us. We slept very well, no noise. The only problem: it must be the most expensive hostel in the world (at least during summer) but it's great to be in Banff”

”I was on a solo trip and chose Samesun for its convenience; it’s just a 10-minute walk to the Banff Downtown. The room was clean, and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. Samesun is a great choice for solo travelers.”

”Great place to stay! The rooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and there was lots of room to bump around in your room. We'd definitely stay there again. Contactless check in so we didn't deal with any staff per se....That being said, the check in was very convenient and super easy.”

”Mostly a good stay. The Ember is a unique property and has some great amenities. The air conditioning wasn't working well when I stayed and the sleeping area was pretty uncomfortable.”
