”Chalets? You wish. Shacks, if anything. Apparently no updates since the 1950s, the place is a run-down, worn-off dump. Thin walls and drafty windows offer no insulation against the cold or the noise from the highway. Both mattresses and linen are decades old and impossible to find sleep in. The kitchen cabinet is falling apart and the cutlery is so disgusting I wouldn’t put it anywhere near my mouth. Oh and did I mention the mold in the shower? I’d rather spend the night in my car than 450 CAD...

”We loved our stay at Sunshine! It was isolated compared to downtown Banff, but a close enough distance so we could come into town and enjoy the shops and restaurants! Staff were very helpful and kind, we never had a bad encounter! Our room was always well maintained and we loved the hiking trails! We’ll definitely be back!”
