”Viihtyisä joen rannalla sijaitseva hotelli, jossa japanilaistyyliset huoneet. Vajaa kilometri matkaa Ujin asemalle (JR), josta pääsee nopeasti Naraan ja Kiotoon. Taksi Kiotosta maksaa n. 5000 jeniä, mikäli viimeinen juna ehtii mennä - Uji hiljenee illalla nopeasti. Henkilökunta puhuu kohtuullista englantia.”
”Property owners are very nice. Showed me the entire inn. Answered all my questions. The bathrooms and beds were very clean. Kitchen was spotless. Would stay there again.”
”The accommodations were spartan but clean we had the "Family Room", the owner very nice and helpful. The bathroom and shower were fine. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together.It is 15 minute walk to the station and to Byodo-in (main attraction in Uji) There are no food options close by but kitchen access was available.
The only real problem is that for anyone who has mobility issues, access to the room was 2 flights of very steep narrow stairs.”
”The hotel has great ammenities and the room service options have a ton of variety. It was nice having a massage chair and jacuzzi tub in the room. It was the largest room my husband and I stayed in throughout our travels in Japan as well.”
”Excellent service, best hotel on our two week trip in Japan (Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Nara). Best breakfast too and buffet type dinner was superb. Nice extra was those two (free!) massage chairs. Room was nice, rather large and quiet and bathroom was clean. ”
”I was considering wether to stay next to Nara Park (and in a Ryokan) or here next to the train station. I was very satiesfied with my choise since it was easy to arrive, move around and the hotel reminded ryokan because of its style. I could hear the trains passing by it didn’t bother me and otherwise my room was very quiet. The onsen spa downstairs is really nice. What I didn’t like that much was the lights in the room, I didn’t know how to switch toilet light off and the automatic light was a...
”This hotel location is excellent, the house keeping is very clean , although a bit old , but the price is very reasonable, with very nice breakfast!!!”
”Far walk for us and dinner is exotic and different. But absolutely beautiful place. Clean and amazing private onsen. We loved the gift shop and they gave us robes to use. Breakfast buffet excellent. Overall wonderful visit, would recommend and wish i can go again someday. ”
