I booked in advance through Expedia, but when I arrived at Hotel Lotus, I was told they didn’t have my room available — even though I had my confirmation with me. Their only “solution” was to charge me $75 extra for an alleged upgrade. Completely unfair and unprofessional.
The worst part is they took no responsibility for the mistake, and if Expedia hadn’t stepped in and relocated me to another hotel, I would’ve been left without a place to stay after a long trip.
Extremely disappointed by the lack of organization and empathy from the staff. I would not stay here again and definitely don’t recommend it. If you book here, be prepared for them not to honor your reservation.
Reservé con anticipación a través de Expedia, pero cuando llegué al Hotel Lotus, me informaron que no tenían mi habitación disponible, a pesar de que tenía mi confirmación en mano. La única “solución” que me ofrecieron fue pagar $75 extra por un supuesto upgrade. Un trato totalmente injusto y poco profesional.
Lo más grave es que no se hicieron responsables por el error, y si no fuera porque Expedia intervino y me reubicó en otro hotel, me hubiera quedado sin hospedaje después de un viaje largo.
Muy decepcionada por la falta de organización y empatía del personal. No volvería a reservar aquí y no lo recomendaría. Si haces una reservación, prepárate para que no te la respeten.
