”Sea Gate offers an authentic feel. The place was clean, hosts were very helpful, beautiful view, lots of Iquanas running around and your morning starts with the sounds of the island. I would definitely recommend ”

”Hotel was overall very pleasant and staff were very motivated and helpful despite potential language challenges as my spanish is crude and staff got fair english. It is lovely place to enjoy the outside sports/pool and relax your stay. There is great views to the surrounding city to marvel at. I recommend choosing this if your not on any tight budget as this is more luxury place in my opinion, but definitely well worth it.”

”The hotel is quite well located not too far away from everything. Room had about everything basics you need. Steep walking uphill, would be good to get some kind of golf cart for transportation up maybe. :) Room had only one small trash can. You cannot smoke there and the hotel restaurant doesn't have any alcohol. ”

”We had an excellent stay in the ocean front room with double windows. Nice and clean, and whatever we would need would be coming to us fast. In my experience and after three years in the Dominican Republic, the customer service of this country has a lot to improve but Catalonia Santo Domingo was fantastic and exceptional! Kind and smiling staff all around. THANK YOU! Everything worked in an easy and smooth way. Lots of smiles and kindness.”
