Decent place/rate but very dishonest
Booked and paid for 2 rooms x 3 nights online. Received "rooms guaranteed and paid for" email. Upon checking in, was told hotel undergoing renovations and will move us to another hotel the next day. Next day - rooms at other hotel were dirty, no fan but just a window without mosquito netting. No choice but to insist on rooms with fan and window with mosquito netting. Seeing that we were quite insistent, the manageress agreed to move us to another hotel and we top up the difference. We agreed and this was done very quickly. A while later, we then went back to Boudha Inn Meditation to pay the top-up cash. Lo and behold, we saw new guests come out of the two rooms which we had to move out of because of supposed renovations. Manageress was speechless and full of guilt.
