”Good guest house in Bhaktapur Durbar Square area. Excellent location, right in the middle of all action in Durbar Square. Restaurants, cafes, shops, museums all around. Ok breakfast, wifi in the room was pretty weak but worked well in the lobby. Nicely decorated, calm atmosphere, clean. Hot shower! Some noise from the street, but that's usually the case with any hotel in Nepal. Nice view from the roof terrace. Very good value for the money, I would highly recommend Kumari Guest House for a visit...

”I stayed in a twin room with private bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable and even came with built in wardrobe. The hosts are wonderful and made breakfast in the morning. It's a peaceful place with a 3rd floor terrace that has a beautiful view of the city. Felt very safe here and loved interacting with the host family.”

”Stayed for 2 days and it was unmatched. Service was outstanding. The BNB itself was outstanding. Free breakfast served fresh. I will be back next time I am in Kathmandu. Absolutely lovely owner and staff. Highly recommend you stay here. A little tough to find but it is down that dead end Street. Paid 600nr for a taxi from the airport. Not more than that.”

The family are so welcoming and the breakfast is amazing - filling you up for the day sightseeing. Definitely a great base and highly recommended ”
