”Beautiful grounds and so much detail and care was put into the interior. Most comfortable beds. AC in each room. TV with each bed (though you will enjoy the grounds and area more than TV!). ”Unique home on a lovely plot of land. Lots of birds, plants, and geckos around the property. The home has everything you need and is a convenient launching point to explore the east side of the island. Less than an hour to Kilauea where we were lucky enough to see a fountain episode. I love quirky houses with a story, this one used to be a water tank that has been built out. Take a morning dip in the hot tub then have breakfast on the lanai. Traffic to and from Hilo can be backed up quite a bit...

It is secluded & quiet, aside from the welcomed noises of the jungle & the roosters :) the host was wonderful and responsive. The resident kitties, Nala & Torte, were so friendly and interactive. They made the stay all the more special. I would return here in a heartbeat & will forever be thankful for our stay here. ”
