”Rooms were very clean, adequately furnished and equipped with microwave, coffee maker & fridge. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with. Breakfast was typical of a budget hotel with a variety of cereals breads, bagels with marmalade, jams, peanut butter, cold juices and yogurts. Hot buffet was fresh but I have to say unappealing to look at, eggs and what appeared to be sausage. Overall, the Breakfast was adequate to start the day and the stay was comfortable.”

”The room was very nice - large and well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely continental breakfast in the morning and were able to sit in the dining room overlooking the bay. Staff was excellent. My only concern was with poor lighting in the parking lot and I did pass that along in the morning. We came in later in the evening and it was very difficult to see where we were walking. Probably not an issue in the busy season when the restaurant is open and people are out...

”Parking was easy. Room was very clean, odor free, and seemed to be newly renovated. Did not have coffee maker. The walls must be very thin as we were disturbed all night by noisy guests in the adjacent room. To their credit, they did quiet down, but continued talking all night, which we could here through the walls. No sleep for us.”

”The room was fine; however, the property is 'sketchy'. I can only hope that properties like Shenstone can improve and offer medium priced accomodation in an area that badly needs it. With non-refunable reservations, I gave up my $$, to stay in a place that was cleaner.”

”There was no breakfast menu we just got a bag with and apple, yogurt, muffin and drink box. The staff were pleasant. The room was nice and clean. Parking was ample. The whole complex wis in repair, no noticable sign, no pool no amenities at all. If we knew what it was like we would not have booked here. ”

”You get what you pay for - a basic room. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Cons were that the noise bleeds heavily from the road out front and the hallways. I couldn't turn off the porch light either and the light really comes through the blinds. There was also a spat between other patrons at about 1am (that can't really be blamed on the motel) but it was quite loud and kept me awake. There is no box spring either and the mattress was a bit thin so my back was a bit sore in the...

”Location was excellent, Breakfast room was nicely layed out. Staff were friendly. Plenty of choices for breakfast example bagels, muffins etc Being gluten intolerant I couldn’t have them, but my husband really enjoyed them. Just one little thing, I was disappointed with the hot breakfast, we were their two days and there was no bacon. Overall I preferred their porridge cereal, fruit. I did make a suggestion if possible to add a few gluten free choices like bread and muffins which most hotels...

”Room was clean and very impressed with the room. Room rate was great but definitely won’t be paying the July /August rates….very overpriced for that time. Couple complaints, fridge gurgled a lot and when furnace ran it was like a rocket taking off….very loud. Was quite surprised with the appliances based on the hotel being very new!!”

”Hotel policy, they required to provide Driver license and enter my personal Identification in their system, even they have my Expedia booking and credit card info. I don’t know how secure with the hotel storing system, I am worry that my personal ID is sold to the third party or third country for criminal activities like fraud and scams. For this reason I will not book for this hotel again or refer it to anyone”
