”The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, nothing bad to say! The customer service was great and dogs can stay for £10 a night. As the hotel has a very central location, there was some noise coming from bars etc to the room but nothing too bad! Air condition is available. ”Excellent central location, large studio flat, warm central heating, safe and secure building. Only small gripes were a lack of plates and cutlery (you’d think a 2 person flat would have at least 2 plates / 2 knives and forks etc) and the shower water pressure could have been stronger but all in all very good accommodation for the price”

”Booked a one night stay to extend another hotel stay close by so we could do the Churnet Valley rail trip. Had a comfortable stay, everything very clean & comfortable. Was a little disconcerted to find we were actually staying in the house with the owner, an unknown experience for us. Julie was very friendly & helpful. Really appreciated the cold bottles of water we were given and the brunch bar.”
