Der Service durch die Besitzerin war herausragend und das selbstgekochte Essen fabelhaft und frisch. Es gibt Frühstück auf Wunsch und gene auch erst gegen Mittag. Das Zimmer war immer sehr sauber und wir erhielten extra Decken. Es gibt einen Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank, aber keinen Fön und keinen TV. Die Klimanlage kann zum heizen benutzt werden. Das Gebäude ist hellhörig und hat einige Treppen. Kinder werden sich auch eher langweilen. Es ist ein sehr familiäres Flair auch unter den Urlaubern, hauptsächlich Holländer. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es keine in der Nähe und nur am Strand gibt es eine kleine Taverne. Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe. Ein Mietwagen kann auch direkt vor Ort bei Eleni gebucht werden. Zolá ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Ein Taxi vom Flughafen zum Hotel kostet 55 Euro. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und hatten sowohl im Hotel als auch auf der Insel einen tollen, sehr ruhigen und erholsamen Urlaub.

This hotel is awful. It is in a remote area, away from everything. There is no Wi-Fi even though expedia's website says it has free Wi-Fi. There is no phone or tv in the bedroom. If you need to contact the staff, you need to leave your room and look around the property and that is if you find any one at all. The bathroom licks water into the bedroom. It was a complete disappointment. The roads around this area are very dangerous. There is no taxi or bus. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The so call beach is a patch of water with rocks. Difficult to get phone signal. The food at the hotel is terrible. I booked for 7 days but checked out after three days and got a hotel in Argostoli. Expedia is refusing to give me a refund. Before you book anything with expedia, read the reviews.

Warm, fun and friendly
The villa is beautiful and secluded with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately smoothed the edge of nervousness that my girlfriend and I felt at our first holiday. The patron Helena not only aided us above and beyond expected service she became a great source of knowledge, entertainment and warmth continuously during the 2 week stay. If you are looking for a friendly and homely holiday resort (accompanied with delicious food) then odyssey villas is just that.

Fantastik omgivelser, intens eier
Du må ha bil for å komme deg dit, men hotellet ligger nydelig til og er svært rolig. passet bra for oss som en ønsket en uke ro fra travle dager hjemme. Desverre lar ikke eieren av hotellet gi deg den roen du ønsker. Eieren gjør det meste selv, og hun styrer plassen med jernhånd. Hun forteller deg når du skal slå av lys, aircontidion hva du skal spise etc. I perioder følte jeg at jeg var på besøk hos en tante, mer enn at jeg har betalt for å få en ferie. Hun sier at hun ønsker at hennes gjester skal føle seg hjemme, men det får være en grense!

Paradise in Kefalonia
We had an amazing time and fell in love with Kefalonia at Odyssy villas. I went with two girlfriends and we made a reservation on hotels.com for two nights at the last minute. Eleni, the owner greeted us when we arrived and was beyond gracious and helpful during our stay. This woman really does it all! She is not only the reception, booking and concierge but also the cook. She told us all of the great places to go, including nearby Myrtos Beach, along with Antissamos Bay, Melissani Lake, Fiskardo and a day trip to Lefkada. The hotel was clean, QUIET, relaxing and had a lovely view of the bay. The hotel is down the hill a bit and a car rental is a must but a great way to explore the island. We loved Eleni and Odyssey Villas so much that we ended up extending our stay one night before our flight back to Athens. We will be recommending Odyssey Villas to our family and friends and are already planning our trip back to see Kefalonia (and Eleni)!

A nice hotel, but in the middle of nowhere :(
The general standard of the hotel is fine, but there are a few negative points that are not obvious to spot when you book up. 1. The hotel really is in the middle of nowhere, there is a small beach a couple of minutes walk away (with nothing much on it), but that's it, no bars, shops, sights etc... A car is a must becuase the nearest civilisation is ~30mins drive on the very scary mountain roads... 2. There's no TV's in the room or WiFi, and we couldn't get any kind of phone signal. 3. Couple the lack of nearby shops, bars, restaurants, with the fact that the hotel bar/restaurants only opens at breakfast/dinner, with a very limited menu, and you can quickly see the problem. (also, even when open, the prices at the hotel are very high!!) On the plus side, the owner is very helpful and friendly, and the place is very clean/tidy. It is also a very peaceful and beautiful spot - so if you just want to veg out by the pool, then this place will be fine for you.
