Majatalot – Keihinjima

”The amazing tatami room that you sleep in makes it seem like you’re in an old tea house in the countryside of Japan. Nice homey Japan feeling.”

”We stayed the night without having any contact with the staff. The room key was in a lock box. The code was emailed to me. A steep staircase led to the second floor. The room was larger than I expected for a Japanese hotel in that price range.”

”セフルチェックインってのが少し不安でしたが事前登録してたのでスムーズにチェックイン出来ました。”

”When we arrived, the host was super friendly, accommodating and patient. We came in December and the unit was quite cold and we tried to adjust. The bathrooms are shared, the shower was not but there was 2 shared showers, super cold area and floor (don’t think it was heated). Price, area, convenience, local eats very good. Be prepared for very little English. Thank you for hosting us , I would stay again.”
