”Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again.”

”Overall the staff and the property were nice. Our bedding on one of the beds was dirty like the bed was made but the sheets were visibly dirty. Other than that and the horrible condition of the parking lot it was a decent stay for the value and location.”

”We had an issue when we first checked into our room and it was quickly taken care of by staff.”

”The hotel was clean but basic. The staff were extremely helpful when we checked in and changed our room for us. The breakfast could be better. Not much choice and the same every morning, one morning we went down and it was literally standing room only, they need a bigger breakfast room. The lady who looks after breakfast was very friendly and chatty.The pool was ok but when there are a few kids in there it’s extremely noisy and there aren’t very many chairs to sit on. The internet is terrible...

”We stumbled upon Sandusky headed to Maryland from Colorado. The town is so wonderful. We were able to score a last min room for 67 bucks. The owner was the main receptionist and we had a very lovely conversation with him. Super friendly and attentive, he definitely knows customer service . We will be back”

”This place was very nice. I stayed for several days and really enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly, the room and grounds were clean, and the amenities were nice! I really liked that the room had body wash and shampoo in the rooms, I think that’s such a nice touch!”

”We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful.”

”We came here for a quick family getaway. Spent 2 nights and will never stay at this property again. Rooms were extremely small. Only 1 option for a king bed. No tissues, no conditioner for hair, no outdoor pool, half of the indoor waterpark activities were closed. No real option for food. Very disappointing and not how it looks online!”

”Pool wasn't operable our jet tub in room ran out of hot water very fast so couldnt fill it up. Bed was comfy room was clean. Had a lake view but the outside was very unkept.”
