”Overall an excellent stay. The location was very nice. Nordic spa was great but did have several features unavailable during our stay. Dinner at Seven Glaciers was superb. Dinner at Sakura was good. Food at Forte was not terrible but would not go back again. Disappointed only one of the Veilbreaker bridges was open due to snow on 2nd bridge area but really thrilling to do the open one. Highlight of the stay was the couples massage!”

”Great place to stay if you are looking for a stop between Seward and anchorage. Clean room. Beautiful lake view. Only thing you need to pay attention is there is not many restaurants options nearby. ”

”Best accommodations experience of trip. Nothing luxurious just solid. Friendly accommodating staff, tidy efficient room with good decent mattress, really good pillows and linens, and excellent shower pressure! The AC unit cooled fine but was a little noisy. And we loved being able to park right outside our door, just like “motel” implies. I’ll enthusiastically recommend this hotel to friends who often stay in fancier places.”

”Honestly for the price there’s better options than the aspen. The best western offers nicer rooms and a decent free breakfast. This place just doesn’t have anything to offer and the staff are average at best. Comparing the experience of staying at both hotels it became clear that the best western was the better value and the staff seemed to be happier with their job than the ones at the aspen.”
