”Came to Castlemaine with family members of six, and had family from Abbeyfeale come down for some games and picture album viewing. It was the perfect location with lots of room for us to have a great time full of laughter and craic.”

”Stayed with two other couples and two friends. This place was perfect for the whole gang. Lots of space to hangout together as well as extremely spacious bedrooms. The owner was quick to respond to questions and accommodated early and late check in/out. The property is a very manageable 4 min walk from the heart of downtown. We walked to and from for the wedding that had us there for the weekend. Everything was great! Would definitely book this place again.”

The property is located within walking distance of all of Kenmare's activities, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen is well-appointed and the bedrooms and bathrooms extremely comfortable. It truly felt like we were visiting our artistic aunt's house with beautiful art and attention to design in every room.”

”Great location for Killarney National Park. We stayed 5 days and walked Gap of Dunloe then boated across, Ring of Kerry with boat trip to Skelligs, day trip to Blarney castle and Cobh , Dingle and Slea Head and golfing at Beaufort golf course. Very well equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms with ensuites have showers with bath shower combo in main bath. Great for two couples or family. You do need a car. Host was great and offered suggestions that helped make our stay special.”

”The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

”Flat was perfect for 2 couples to stay and enjoy Killarney! You can cook if you want, but we enjoyed the pubs and restaurants right outside our door! Kieran was a thoughtful and responsive host, and we will definitely stay here when we come back!”

”The location is beautiful and feels set apart despite being so close to services and the incredible drives and towns on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Everything would be 5 stars except there was a little musty smell, likely coming from the carpets and perhaps older furnishings in LR. It was wonderful to have 2 lovely bathrooms, a very comfortable king bed, laundry, and a sparkling kitchen. We did have problems communicating with the host, despite international roaming -- but that's not...

”We had a wonderful stay at Fia Lodge. Located in a beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning views of MacGillycuddy’s Reeks and a great base for day trips exploring Kerry. The Lodge was beautifully presented, very comfortable, clean and modern, with bifold doors and great outdoor space. Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting, and we look forward to a return visit.”

”This place was excellent for our Ireland Golf trip. We had 8 golfers which included two of my son’s and two wives joined us for a total group of 10. The home was well situated for our drives to some of Ireland’s premier golf courses and our day trip to Killarney. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos particularly the two upstairs king en suite bedrooms. Sean was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. Much appreciated. John”

”Beautiful home with ample room for two families. We were greeted by the host who took the time to show us around and followed up with us to make sure all was going well. She provided us with milk, cream, coffee and tea which was much appreciated. It is newly remodeled, each room was lovely and well kept. There is outdoor furniture and the lawn rolls down to the sea. We would highly recommend.”

”My son and I very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The location is just outside of Kenmare, up a winding road that is in very good condition. The directions to the cottage were easy to find, look for the blue bicycle! Marcus, the host, is a warm and caring fellow.
