”Great accomodation but there was no liquid detergent for washing up dishes and no broom. I did ask staff for some detergent but there was none available. It makes it a little difficult to clean fry pans and wipe down counters. But other wise a wonderful short holiday!”

”Our stay at Village b & b was just right for us. Close to village shops and eateries, and historical places. Liz and Rich are excellent hosts and we enjoyed our chats with them. Liz has a good selection of speciality teas served in elegant high class teapots and cups and saucers. Unfortunately we were too busy exploring to partake in their high tea on offer, but we believe its a great event. This is a charming olde worlde English style b & b. The decor is just lovely and we enjoyed sitting...

”Absolutely amazing and perfect for a quiet night away. The room was super cosy and luxurious and the grounds around the property were stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having the use of the hot tub, pool and sauna made our experience even better it’s an all in one getaway for some R&R. Our breakfast was very generous and simply delicious too. We loved everything about it! Highly recommend! ”

”I read the varying reviews on this hotel and I was a little wary but tbf we had no issues with the place. Yes it’s dated but it sort of goes with the wackiness of it all. Good sleep, decent room with a view, great breakfast and all within a reasonable price. The view from upper rooms are just worthy of * themselves. Don’t be put off by bad reviews the hotel is fine and cheap.”

”Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. ”
