30 Rockefeller Plaza is an Art Deco skyscraper in the middle of Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan. At 850 feet (260 m) high, the 70-story building is the 14th tallest in New York City and is a great place for capturing views at sunset (especially because it offers views of the Empire State Building).

To get this shot, head to the top of Rockefeller Center, known as "Top of the Rock." The entrance is on W 50th St between 5th and 6th Avenues. Tickets can be purchased on the basement level of building. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance in order to make your way to the top by sunset (the entry system is timed). Also allot time for a security screening and wait times at the elevator.

Once you arrive at the observation deck take the escalator to the upper levels where your views won't be impeded by the glass windscreens. Tripods are not allowed (although monopods are allowed), but you can rest your camera on the stone barriers of the upper observation deck. Additionally you can use a table-top tripod for stability.

You could truly pack as if it was a hotel stay and be just as comfortable. The tiny home also had a lot of natural light which I loved. ”This cottage is a dream come true vacation spot. Whatever you could want, Elizabeth has already thought of it as your host! Not only was the cottage absolutely stunning, it is stocked perfectly with snacks, board games, and very detailed instructions. She even included a page in the instruction binder about invasive lady beetles and stink bugs! Anytime I thought I needed something that I hadn't packed, it was probably stocked under the sink. "The best thing is definitely the location right next to Time Square. Otherwise the hotel is pretty basic for a 4 star hotel and based on my previous experiences in New York, I was expecting more. I was a bit disappointed that the free breakfast means grab-and-go croissant, yoghurt and juice. When paid extra 6,5$ per person, we could sit down and have one thing from the list. The room was a bit old and not the cleaniest, but the bed was very comfortable and the staff mostly nice. "
