”Very good location off freeway and only one mile to town with a very large well lit parking lot. Very comfortable, ample size clean room with two dbl beds for two people. Pool and self serve bkfst included three delicious juices, very good waffles with cinnamon available, hot coffees, breads, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Friendly staff and good price for the room with a small discount for the second night. Only one miss...we were given two adjoining rooms instead of...

”Attended my first Drake Relays. Drove 6.5 hrs up as media knowing it could all be tornadoed out. I actually liked the location. This hotel is in an industrial part of West Des Moines behind some other hotels. It's right off a couple interstates and within walking distance to McDonalds, Taco John's, and others. No time to drive due to said tornadoes! First impression was okay, both of facility and room. Quite small room, no table to work on computer so I parked it underneath the TV. Always felt...
