”Immaculate, fresh and comfortable accomodations. Lovely quiet spot yet very convenient to grocer and restaurants. Host graciously accommodated an early check in. Approximately 10 minute drive to Sequoia National Park entrance. There is no closet though there is a small dresser which was fine for us. The mini split kept us very comfortable as it was quite hot during our early October visit. I’d suggest grocery shopping in the valley before heading into town as the grocer store selection while...

”Great! Big bedroom with comfortable bed. Large kitchen fully stocked. But the highlight was the hot tub. I’m 6 feet tall. My wife is 5’ 3”. She always has a hard time getting comfortable in a hot tub. She floats or tries to brace her feet to stay under the water. She normally stays in just long enough to appease me. But this hot tub had 2 places to “lounge” that were perfect for the both of us. Very comfortable. Close to the parks. Private. But be prepared. This place is way out in the...

”The Hummingbird Cottage was a very pleasant and peaceful retreat in Ivanhoe agricultural territory. It is close to Visalia, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Their hiking trail around the orange orchards and Sycamore trees was a short but enjoyable walk. Of course the highlight was the hummingbirds flying from nearby trees to the feeders! The host was very attentive to our requests and there were plenty of sleeping options in the cottage. Very charming!”

”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great to not be in a hotel and have the ability to cook meals and still not be too far from the National Parks. ”The Hut was exactly as advertised! If you're looking for a place to stay in the SNP area, this location is the place to be! We loved the outdoor environment, grilling over charcoal and the solitude. We enjoyed a full day of hiking in SNP and came prepared to take full use of the outdoor space. I'll certainly visit again. The host communicated all things accurately and on-time. 5 star in my book.”

”A fabulous spot near all the fun in the El Dorado/Placerville area! The cottage was more than we expected for the price.”

”This wasn’t what we expected as it was located in a campground with campers, tents, and cottages. There was constant traffic with workers on side by sides which kicked up a lot of dust and made sitting outside difficult. The cottage was run down and the bed was the worst we’ve ever slept in. If we went back to the area, we would stay somewhere else.”

”Affordable place to stay when you are planning to do Yosemite or places vicinity of Oakhurst.Looks clean and smells clean too. Host respond immediately on circumstances. Basic needs to make stay comfortable is available, like an internet wifi, full kitchen need, decent size bed size and living space for two. My husband like their welcome cookie ( peanut butter cookies). Deserves a tip and recommendation to next occupants. Till next time.”

”This was a wonderful place to stay. We had check in info sent ahead of time and were able to just drive up to our cabin and go on in. We had an electrical issue with the television and the host fixed it immediately and was extremely helpful. Just know WiFi is very limited, don’t expect to stream tv shows, but they also have a HUGE library of movies available. Would definitely stay here again!”

”The property was truly charming. Rented it for two out of town guests that couldn't be accommodated in our home. The proximity to Fig Garden Village was a real plus for dinner, breakfast , Whole Foods, and some fun shopping. The only drawback was one guest had to sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. But, sofa beds have never been known for comfort. The sofa bed would be a great place for children to sleep.”
