”April 2026 stay, which was 'out of season'. Booked room for five nights with our adult daughter accompanying us. Arrived to find two sets of convention people at the site and the room allocated was a double occupancy bed. Went back to reception and they eventually allocated us a room in 'the estate', an adjacent set of cabins located about 1 mile away. Location was picturesque with lakeside views. ”We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on...
