”Alastair’s property is vast, beautifully groomed, and chock full of birds and other wildlife. The little swimming pond was a great bonus. On top of that, the home is very comfortable and well-appointed. We made good use of the porch, dining room, and living room in equal measure, and enjoyed cooking on the grill a couple of times during our 4-night stay. Thank you for a lovely getaway!”

”We had an amazing stay at this farmhouse while our sons played at Dreams Park. Three families and some sideline siblings all stayed here comfortably with plenty of room to play outside and for everyone to spread out. The house was well stocked and the owner was very responsive. This was the most updated place we could find in the area and it was well worth it!”

”It really is a charming farmhouse. It has history but they have decorated it nicely. It has comfort and style. It is the PERFECT location for Cooperstown All Star Village. Communication was excellent all the way from when I booked, checked in and checked out, checkin/checkout was smooth, the house includes everything that is needed for a week of baseball/Cooperstown or just a getaway. Traveled with 3 adults but there is plenty of room for more. ”

”This house was incredible for our stay. Our kids played at Dreams Park and this house was in the perfect location and had everything we needed. Furniture was nice quality, the beds were comfortable, pool was amazing, and the scenery of rural NY was breathtaking. Coupled together with a good performance by our baseball team, it really was a dream trip. If you are going to Dreams Park or are just visiting Cooperstown, this house will not disappoint. ”Pros: the layout of this house plus the location was perfect for our Cooperstown ASV week. It’s a beautiful house with some great upgrades. The huge deck and backyard made for a great team bbq.Cons: I’d say the only real con was the AC didn’t work great upstairs, so on the really hot days the temp difference between down and up was pretty rough.On the whole - we all had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our stay. We’d definitely recommend this house for future CASV families and any others...

”We had a great stay here! The host was incredibly responsive and also had a lot of proactive communication and gestures. We’d mentioned we were getting in late, and wonderful and thoughtful accommodations were made for that. We loved the puzzles & puzzle board, since it rained. Lots of kids books and legos, too. ”For anyone who wants a quiet getaway in the beautiful hills of upstate NY or who wants to avoid the crowded antiseptic hotels of Oneonta if traveling for baseball, you can't do better than The Farmhouse. There is more than enough equipment and space for your family to be comfortably fed and sheltered. ”This house was amazing! We stayed for baseball tournament in dreams park. Perfect distance to the field. House had all the bells and whistles. All we needed was food. Great job with the remodel, it's like staying in a brand new house. We definitely recommend to anyone going to Cooperstown. ”

”The location was good. The house has a ton of space. The property was peaceful. I wasn’t aware that the basement was rented out separately so when we arrived we were surprised to find a car from another state there. I also wasn’t aware that the house DOES NOT HAVE A/C! The temperature reached 100 degrees but house does has a couple fans and gets a really good cross breeze when you open the doors and windows.
