”The location can't be beat- right on the river and walking distance to everything you could want. That being said, the accommodations were average- it gives the vibe of DIY. If you have reactive dogs (luckily we don't) i would suggest staying elsewhere- you can hear all the movements of your neighbors. But again, location was awesome.”

”It was a delight to stay in the Shoe which I saw for so many years on the way to visit my extended family in Reading, PA from Baltimore. Enjoyed the design of the shoe house and there was something quaint about the rooms that made them comforting. The hot tub and fire pit were nice additions. The host was very responsive.
