Lomamökit – Keswick

”Though bijou, it was well designed and the space was very well used. The outside space was good and lovely to have the hills around, We did have problems using the very modern microwave/grill and cooker - It needed DETAILED WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS! and we would have preferred an ordinary electric kettle. A corkscrew, too would have been useful!But, we enjoyed a wonderful 2 days”

”We have recently returned from a 4 night break at Tawny cottage. Already knowing the Keswick area well we knew Portinscale would suit us well - outside the bustle of Keswick but within easy walking distance down a nice path, and easy access to local country walks. The cottage was immaculate in both cleanliness and decor - and well equipped - with off street parking. Our adult daughter had the 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds ( would have been a perk if was 2 singles which could be set up as a King...

Cottage lovely and comfortable with everything you need, jaw dropping views, short walk to local pubs and within easy reach of Keswick and other Lakes destinations. Ruby’s influence and impact clear as very dog friendly. Will certainly be back.”

”The lords seat was a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean. Great location with amazing views. Nice to have the extras like the dvds and games. The only disappointing thing was the water going off (ironic in the lake district) but obviously not your fault. The only thing that would have helped is instructions on a couple of things. We struggled with the hob as it clicks off every time we put the pan on and hadnt used that sort of hob before so took a while to figure it out. It was a...
