”We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!”

The Lodge had everything you need, with comfortable beds & furniture, a very well stocked kitchen, a beautiful decking area with a variety of bird life visiting the feeders. It’s near loads of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a great location with nearby parking provided by the host. Steve was quick to respond to any messages and queries we had. ”The cottage has a lovely location nestled in the trees and with great mountain views. The interior spaces are on the whole comfortable and well equipped, except for the bathroom which is very small. ”The cottage is very well equipped, has great views and a comfortable lounge. Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water. It is in an ideal spot for walking the Northern Fells and being accessible for the bars and restaurants in Keswick. Be aware that...

One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend.
