”We had a nice stay at General Stanton. It’s a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.”

”The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is right on the beach, which itself is beautiful and has a remarkable shoreline. In addition, the inn is near some great restaurants on the beach and in nearby towns. I have been going here for years and often see the same people. It is an inn that you will want to book summer after summer.”

”Super nice staff, and the place, albeit slightly dated, was very comfortable and had an old timey charm and fascinating history (look up Stagecoach Inns, RI) making it a wonderful spot to rest your bones. The jacuzzi tub in the "Honeymoon Suite" did not disappoint either. Thanks!!!

”I have returned to this property many years now. It is right on the ocean, and you can be on the beach, or you can choose the lovely pool. The restaurant and bar have an excellent ocean view and you can enjoy outdoor dining by the ocean. The food is very good. I’m always very happy with my stay here.”
