”The exterior of the building is wonderful along with the grounds. The interior however is extremely run down and our first room We were given smelt damp and had to be moved to a better room but still then extremely basic and cleaning standard not great. Not helped also by the fact they only offer housekeeping every 3 days. Hotel with huge potential but not being looked after and requires urgent attention would not recommend anyone to stay there”

”The hotel is really well positioned to explore Bath on foot. We stayed 3 nights. Our experience could have been better - overall it was ok. On arrival, we discovered a used towel from the previous guests hanging on the back of the door, and a half eaten apple was in the fridge. We asked reception to come and sort it out, but had to return to ask them to do something, before the desk clerk turned up and chucked replacement towels on the bed three hours later. It was ok, just not great. ...

”Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly.
