”The property is what others have explained. I liked it because it was quite. The kitchen was stocked well appliances, dishes etc.”

”Happy to go back to 1907 and try to feel how this building look alike at the time with such fantastic sun rise view and serene sea with white cotton clouds above!”

”This place is Amazing and Small a great little getaway very peaceful setting . Very comfortable rooms Mine had a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. Home cooked breakfast. Wife and I love this place. ”

”From the road the property looks old and that is reflected on the inside of the rooms. Our room was terrible! It smelled of urine, mildew and cleaning chemicals that they most likely used in an attempt to cover the scent. The property is approximately 25 meters from the main road so it is incredibly noisy. The breakfast was not a breakfast per se, it was wrapped bagels, keurig coffee with your choice of kirkland coffee pods, yami yogurt and milk. Not worth the stay.”

”Outside area was really dirty and mangy scroungy mats of flower pots were full of weeds Just not maintained. Room was okay bed was really noisy cuz they had some kind of plastic bed cover on the bed I guess The shower was horrible to say the least you couldn't move the shower head and we had hardly any pressure and warm water. The place definitely needs a remodel.”

”The place was a lovely historic castle, very beautiful and nicely restored. The room was a bit small but really nice, the bathroom was huge and looked brand new. If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”The Hero is great for a romantic getaway with spa services. The jetted tubs in the rooms are enormous. The ambiance is cozy. The free breakfast includes eggs made to order. The massages are awesome. We will be back.”

”To me this was a unique building with an interesting history. There is an art gallery inside and works of art throughout the lobby etc. that is definitely worth viewing. My bed was good. Some cobwebs on the pipes near the ceiling. Came with a little spider in the bathtub - was not an issue but for some maybe. Note that there is no a/c in the room that I had. The hotel is right on the ocean so unless there is a major heatwave inland, no a/c would rarely be a problem for most people imo.”

”The bedroom area is extra large. The kitchen has a sink, microwave and breakfast counter with bar stools. The refrigerator kept our drinks cold. There is water coming up between the bathroom floor tiles and the bed has a large dip in the middle. The day staff is very helpful.”
