”A little apprehensive when we first approached and checked in. But that soon went away when we went into our mini apartment. It was great and in fantastic condition. We stayed in the Viva property which im guessing was quite new.

”Very quiet hotel on a beach that they keep clean. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very nice and attentive. We had a few meals at the restaurant which seemed 50/50. The room service wasn't worth it as it arrived cold and old both times even though the kitchen is 50’ away and we were one of a handful of guests. No excuse. Chose not to eat at the restaurant after trying one last chance…papaya salad…not good. except for breakfast which was decent.
The pool is nice but its a club I guess and so...

Pieni Uima-allas ja joitain itse kyhätyn oloisia aurinkotuoleja, joita emme uskaltaneet käyttää, kun näyttivät siltä että niistä tippuu läpi. ”Amazing & relaxing stay! Food is not amazing but not bad either. My advice is to stick with Thai food! Not too many things happening, so it's a please to calm down & enjoy the beach & nature. Staff doesn't speak English very well but you can get by! I had a suite to myself and it was absolutely amazing! Beach is untouched and there are few places (2 restaurants, 2 hotels) on the beach when you walk along it.. Would highly recommend this place!”

At first, we were presented with a villa that was not the same as the one we had booked. Thank god, we finally got to the right villa.
The villa was nice and clean.
The mood of the first day was lowered by a snake that we saw at our pool, the staff went to catch it, and a cockroach that we caught inside the apartment.
Although we have traveled a lot on the different islands of Thailand, we had never encountered a snake at the accommodation before.
I would have expected that a five-star hotel would have a better look at the yard areas, especially since the snake came towards us as soon as we arrived at the villa.
I recommend the hotel if your goal is to sunbathe in your own peace.
