”A great week at a great new(ish) resort! We loved popping into Gialova for dinner most nights and the hotel concierge happily arranged reservations and a taxi. Just 10 euros each way if you don’t want to walk. Highly recommend Anama, Elia and Kochili Fish in particular. Overall very good service and lovely friendly staff with a few very minor exceptions. ”Luxury hotel with panoramic views over Navarino Bay. If you play golf it’s surrounded by golf courses. If you want to swim in the sea the beach is part of the hotel and sheltered and clean with all the facilities close at hand - they give you a device to call for service so if you are feeling really lazy you don’t need to get off your sun lounger! The spa is excellent too. ”

”We were very happy with out choice: Lovely location, very clean, friendly staff, stunning beach views and breakfast terrace, excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice and a good choice of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cake, eggs and salami/ham/cheese along with greek specialities. However, coffee at breakfast from the machine is really awful, the worst we have seen so far. If you order good coffee from the espresso machine at the bar, it will be charged as an extra.”

”This is the third time we’ve stayed at Afentiko Pigadi and it was just as great as the first two times. I cannot be more positive about the entire experience. The pool is amazing, house is well equipped, area is quiet and perfect for recharging. But most of all, the people are amazing. Marios is the kindest, nicest and most fun person you’ll ever meet. ”The location of the hotel is really good, right next to the center of Pylos. The standard room facing to the backyard was tiny, there was barely room for 2 suitcases. The room was clean, however, and aircondition worked nicely. The shower curtain was a bit short, so after shower water was all over the bathroom floor. Good breakfast with possibility to eat on the terrace with nice view.”

”Enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Provided breakfast was great. The place is small, so not a lot of interaction with others. The pool was perfect. It’s a nice walk into town, and based on how narrow the streets are, you are better off not taking the car into town. Able to see everything we wanted to in Methoni and the surrounding towns.”

”My wife and I spent one night at Zagamilos Hotel. The location requires walking thru steep streets to get to the marina and the restaurants there. The room was small but comfortable, although the air conditioning did not appear to be that strong. The beds were very firm. Unfortunately, there was road work just outside of the hotel which prevented us from parking and required us to lug our bags from the street (~60 m). It would have been nice to get some advance notice about the construction...
