”We visited Athina Villas in July 2015 for one night to visit Spinalonga Island. The owner Manolis was already expecting us and gave us a very warm welcome. We also got some wine, raki and olive oil as a gift. This was very much appreciated. If you visit Plaka village, this is definately the hotel to stay in.”

”Sindssygt lækkert værelse med egen pool. Perfekt til vores ‘babymoon’. Hotellet er mega lækkert, og service er virkelig god. 20 min gåtur fra hotellet ligger byen Elounda, hvor jeg kan anbefale at gå ind om aftenen og spise aftensmad. Eneste minus på hotellet er nemlig maden, der er ret dyr og ret middelmådig. Vi spiste aftensmad der de to første dage, før vi begyndte at tage ned i byen. Der fik vi mere for det halve.
Men alt i alt perfekt pool-værelse.”
”The staff here were friendly and helpful. We had a late check-in 9 pm and a staff was there to help us check-in. The hotel itself was spacious for my family of 4 (2 teens). Great views of the water in Sitia. The only thing for consideration is that it is away from the action. Not walkable to food/stores. We had a rental car so it wasn't an issue. Will return to this hotel. ”

Die Anlage liegt direkt am Meer und es sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Einen Spaziergang entfernt findet sich der Hafen mit reichlich Restaurants. Einzig am Wifi sollte sich etwas ändern, da dieses viel zu schwach ist. ”
