Older house, but very nice location and we loved all the king size bedrooms. We were in town for the marathon weekend and loved being right on the course to cheer on the runners. Easy access to the shuttle stop and beach. Only a 10-15 minute walk to The Sanctuary. We loved our stay!

Location was fabulous. On the 18th tee of TurtlePoint and a waterway on the other side. House was well laid out and spacious. Great screened in porch to enjoy the surroundings. Would certainly stay again. Great accommodations and guest instructions were clear. Thank you Sweetgrass.

We had such an incredible stay in this gorgeous Kiawah home! It was perfect for our family and 2 toddlers, we loved the screened in porch and bathrooms are all updated beautifully. Every room has a king bed and its own full bathroom which was lovely. The home had everything we needed and was a perfect location to walk or bike to the beach or pool (you do however need to rent bikes, beach chairs and beach towels separately). Only a 10 or so minute bike ride to night heron park with playground and 5-10 mins bike to the sanctuary. Would absolutely stay here again!

Incredible Fall Weekend

This was one of the the most memorable vacation houses my family and I have ever stayed at. The serene views of nature and the good course, close access to the beach and shops and the beauty of the neighborhood contributed to a truly amazing stay. We will be back !

Family Beach Vacation

Excellent location - easy access to the community pool and beach. Fabulous front and back porches which provided some "escape" space and great for a rainstorm. Four bathrooms and four bedrooms helped with families coming in from across the country. Would rent again!

Fun family holiday vacation

Overall, a very positive experience! Proximity to beach and golf was perfect. Enjoyed everything the island has to offer and enjoyed relaxing back at our rental property!

Perfect location, great home

Perfect for family (ies) with kids! Downstairs game room/ bedroom with bunk beds is ideal! Location perfect, less than 5 min walk from beach. Screened porches are a huge plus.

A perfect house

This house was perfect for our family stay at Kiawah. We loved the location beside the lagoon, the golf course and the bike path. The house was furnished very comfortably and attractively. We loved having 4 bedrooms all with king size beds. My favorite feature was the screened porch with nice furniture and ceiling fans that work! The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared every meal there during our week long stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Great House, 7 min walk to the beach, 12 min walk if your are 92! Loved having 4 master Bedrooms, great porches. Location offered views of lagoon and golf course. Would rent again.

Family vacation

Cleanliness was a problem. Appeared to be pet hair on living room furniture. Outdoor furniture was covered with pollen and tabletops had not been cleaned in some time. First floor bedroom shower did not drain and tv does not work. Kitchen sink does not drain likely due to improperly installed garbage disposal. There was mold in both 2nd floor showers. Poor selection of cookware. Bring your own cleaning products. Lower level driving net and putting green are not as pictured. It’s just a storage area filled with trash. There are only 3 wine glasses. The coffee maker uses basket filters which are not sold at the grocery store on the island. The refrigerator needs a new water filter. The pool opened on the day we left. We did not contact the property manager regarding these problems during our stay. Overall I would look for another property on returning to Kiawah. The island is beautiful.

Great place

Would be nice to have more than one cycle’s worth of dishwasher soap. Going to buy a whole pack for just a week is a bit of a waste, but that certainly isn’t a ding on the house. Great place and very easy process b

Turtle Point

The house layout was perfect for 4 couples. Bathrooms need a little update. No real view of course from house. Location is excellent. Easy walk to Turtle Point Clubhouse! Walked to Tomasso's for dinner!

September trip

House was beautiful. A few things I would like to see touched up do to the amount we payed. Bushes behind the house cleaned up so we can enjoy the view, better hangers for the pool stick rack. It fell once and would not want to be responsible for any damage. Small amenities such as seasonings, trash bags, paper towels, cleaning supplies etc. The shuffle board pucks need to be replace due to rust on the bottom. Also needs the correct sand in order to play it. I don’t think you can get much us out of the driving range due to low garage ceilings. Maybe get rid of it and allow car access in the garage. Other than that it was in a perfect location and the walk to the beach was actually very pleasing. We didn’t spend much time in the house so these small issues were no big deal to us but I’m sure someone in the future will complain. We will be back. 4.5 out of 5.

Solid Option

Location to the beach was great! The living space was bright and roomy. Wonderful for entertaining a large group. Screened in porch was well utilized. Basement bedroom and entertainment was a huge bonus. Loved seeing the alligator family from the lagoon bridge just steps from our door. Garage was great for parking bikes/stroller over night. Enjoyed having the option to grill. A full size washer & dryer was helpful (but the dryer usually took 2 cycles to dry.) Beach was perfect for watching fireworks. So was the bridge! All king beds made room assignments easy. Nice and quiet- sound didn’t travel to upstairs bedrooms and vice versa. Great for groups with an infant and/or toddler. Beach was not crowded. The neighborhood pool was small and too crowded. Minor complaints: Could use new carpeting. Vacuum did not work. Low water pressure in kitchen. Could really use a bathroom for the 6 sleeping spots in the basement. Inlet cove has a much better pool.

Great location, space....difficult driveway

Great week and no major issues... spin cycle on washer sporadically did not work properly. Basement AC in main room leaked. Driveway is very hard to maneuver with more than 2 vehicles. Otherwise, space and location was perfect. Will surely consider renting again.

The house has great space and is in a good location. It definitely needs some TLC.

The property is managed by Sweetgrass and they are nice but not always helpful. The “lock box “ to the house is not a typical box and in an odd place, which was not communicated to us properly. Finding this at night was a challenge. The cable and internet went out day 2 and never got restored. Sweetgrass has no IT support. The washer was out of balance and wouldn’t spin or drain. The Dryer vent was too clogged to dry the clothes ( gave us a warning code ) so we had to unhook the out vent from the wall just to get our clothes dry. The upstairs air conditioning worked intermittently. The kitchen has good space and is adequately stocked. Bathrooms are outdated but adequate. I think if all amenities were actually working I would give this place at least 4 stars. We stayed 6 nights and received a 200 dollar credit for not having internet or cable. We should have been given at least a days refund.

Great location

House could use a little more TLC and upgrades to laundry machines which didn’t work out but close to everything and nice bedrooms as well as great kitchen. Also, the bathroom upstairs is broken and needs to be fixed.

A great house for our family to spend a week together.

This was our first time to visit Kiawah Island and this house was a perfect fit for our family. The location is close to the beach and close to the middle of the resort community. The house is well stocked with the exception of a few things in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to our net trip to Kiawah.
