”Very rude staff and rooms that are not great for the price they charge. The parking situation is also pretty bad, ended up having to park quite far from the hotel entrance, and with lots of luggage, it was an extra hassle. I'd say spend your money elsewhere.”

”We stayed here for a couple of nights, and cannot fault either the room (we had a dog friendly room) Bed was comfy, bathroom very modern and clean. I can certainly recommend the full English breakfast, possibly one of the best I've ever had, there are lighter options. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass”

”The property was in a rural location and looked attractive from the outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice. The bedroom was quite dark and as its an old building wasnt particularly well sound proofed. The bathroom constantly had a terrible smell, like damp. This was very unpleasant.”

”Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking. We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.”

”Gorgeous looking hotel. Already lovely but excited to see it when their plans to gain a 4th star come to fruition. My only qualms are rather thin walls to the next bathroom (you can hear the next rooms shower power unit) and the ventilation (weather was low 20s but room got full sun and with no air con it was very hot, even with windows fully open). Otherwise, tasteful decor, a really nice restaurant with super food and a beautiful location.”

”We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning.
