Welcome to Colin's Cabin at Devonshire Place by KEES Vacations!

Come stay with us at Colin's Cabin, a beautifully decorated three-bedroom home located in the Devonshire Place neighborhood part of the Bermuda Bay community.

While driving through the Bermuda Bay community you will get the feeling of being on a Caribbean Island. The vibrant hues of the homes and the pool in the community are bright and cheerful and will have you wanting to come back year after year to Colin's Cabin.

The Bermuda Bay community is widely known for enjoying sunset viewing and quiet vacationing. The exclusive amenities available to you as a guest of this wonderful resort include a lazy river, sparkling pools, a fun splash pad with various water features lots of fun toys, and plenty of sun loungers for relaxing. The Elbow Beach Clubhouse includes a fitness center, lounge area, pool table, and a full bathroom for guest use. The clubhouse and fitness center are open year-round from 7:00am to 9:00pm. The Bay has a pier perfect for fishing, launching kayaks, or just enjoying the view.

Hit the beautiful beaches of Kill Devil Hills, which are conveniently only a one-mile drive from the Bermuda Bay communities. Or take an evening stroll over to the nearby Wright Brothers Memorial.

After a long day at the beach, relax in the comfortable living area located on level one or walk out onto the back patio to enjoy a refreshing beverage from the kitchenette and wet bar also located on this level. This level also has a half bathroom.

The second level includes a well-stocked kitchen for the chef of the family to prepare your favorite meal. The open floor plan allows everyone to enjoy the great room, dining area, and kitchen while exchanging stories of their day's activities and plans to return for another memorable vacation at Colin's Cabin.

When retiring from a wonderful day, you will sleep comfortably in the well-decorated three Queen En Suite bedrooms on the third level. Book your next vacation with us at Colin's Cabin. We look forward to seeing you!

This property has 2 parking spots for guests.

Trailers, U-Hauls, and campers are not permitted in the Bermuda Bay community.

**The Bermuda Bay community private outdoor community pools and/or waterpark play areas are available, weather permitting, beginning on weekends only (Friday to Sunday) May 1 to May 17. Beginning May 22, the pool will be open daily and close on October 1 for the season. Please know that pool operating dates are subject to change at any point, for any reason.**

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

It was a beautiful home and very clean but it lacked some basic amenities in the kitchen area and it said it came with towels but they were very flimsy and not the greatest.

A week away

Nice to be back again in a familiar setting and nice neighborhood. Loved walking through the area on sidewalks, nice and flat! The House could definitely use a little TLC…the cleanliness wasn’t quite on par with last year. The screens on the back porch were broken Shower head in “master” bath didn’t function properly Front door was dirty Interior vents were really dirty The pool area could also use some TLC. It’s a lovey amenity, but it’s a little tired and worn in places. Disappointed by the lack of response from KEES to remedy the concerns, even though they were pointed out immediately upon arrival.

Pink Get Away

Overall our stay was a good one. But in the living room we noticed droplets on floor near large sofa. We believe someone had a pet there because our son had a allergic reaction. But we cleaned up and sprayed the room. Thank you for the rental but it was more of a 3 day stay then a 4 day stay. I have learned to double check for that next time. Take care!

Great condo!

Very comfortable and roomy -- easily room for our three couples to spread out and also gather when we wanted to. Convenient to all OBX attractions and beaches. Newer and well appointed space. Wonderful experience. Only one (extremely nit-picking) suggestion. Full-size coffee mugs would be great!

Happy Overall

The home and amenities were exactly what I had imagined. When we had arrived, there were still a few articles of trash in the back yard, a partially full trashbag, and a few dirty dishes mixed in with the clean ones in the dishwasher. Besides that, the home was very clean and well equipped. My wife and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary by taking our 2 year old to the beach for the first time along with my best friend, his wife, and their 2 year old. We had a great time. My friend and I managed to walk from house to the beach and back within an hour and half, after dark. We actually managed to view a SpaceX Falcon 9 second stage launching some Starlink satellites into orbit from Cape Canaveral Florida. Parking for the beach was non existant on the Saturday afternoon of labor day weekend, but was easy to find the rest of the time. Fortunately the pool was open and the kids loved it! Especially the splash areas. The beach was great and the weather was perfect. I was a bit disappointed that there was no propane for the firepit or grill available when we arrived, but it wasn't worth the hassle so we just didn't use them, but I would have appreciated that being available to use. I may be partially to blame for procrastinating in adding a day to the end of the stay until the day before my stay began, but it did end up causing a headache or two. The main one was that management changed the door lock code while we were out at the Wright Brothers Memorial, and we found ourselves locked out with an overheated, hungry, and cranky wife & toddler. Fortunately management did pick up the phone, and after a little bit of trial and error, they were able to get us in. It was probably only a 15 minutes delay total, but definitely a very anxious 15 minutes. Overall I feel like this in place is a great value and would recommend to others.

Wish we had more time...

Colin's Cabin was awesome for our group of four! The beds were comfy the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. We loved the outdoor seating on the screen porch and the outdoor shower. The property was very clean and felt brand new. Kees Property Management was great both times we called for assistance. I would definitely come back here for another stay and spend more than 3 days next time!
