”My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. ”The house was fabulous, the history amazing and the hosts couldn't have done more for us.We were three generations (12 of us) travelling to show the grandchildren the wonders of their grandfather's homeland and the Castle House at the Barracks was a perfect base for our stay in this part of Ireland.
