”Avoid a room above the bar because of the noise. I think it must get its 3 star rating from the rooms in the new areas. The food was very mediocre. For food I would recommend The Fox Hole which is around a 5 minute walk. The setting saved my stay because it was lovely to sit by the river. The staff were very nice.”

”The staff were fantastic, really nice. The room was massive, but missed out on 5-star as the shower was pathetic; there was a better shower in the pool. Food was a good selection, and the beer on tap was fantastic. Overall, I had a great break. It would have been excellent if the shower in the room had power.not like dripping tap”

”Friendly staff, room was value for money. A little disappointed that the restaurant was only serving same food as bar, especially as booked for a birthday. Bar staff very customer orientated and super friendly, made as fuss of hubby for his birthday.”

”The room was tired and Amenities were poor. Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Reception welcome was far from a welcome. The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. I phoning reception 3 times to ask if the room next door could turn their television down which was blaring for hours. After the third phone call over 2 hours they eventually did at 10.30pm. ”It was the uncomfortable bed/pillows, the fire alarm going off at 5am that wouldn't stop and the long power cut the next day when i needed to work that caused me to leave a bad review.”

”Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!”

”Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced.”

”What a beautiful inn. It’s quiet and the staff are all very friendly. I stayed there one night and chose it because of its proximity to Kynren. It was about a 15 minute drive from their car park. So convenient! Especially when you’re getting out of the show at 11 o’clock at night. Their breakfast in the morning had lots of options, both hot and cold. I wish I could’ve stayed longer in the area.”
