Huvilat – Kimberley

”They upgraded us to an air-condition tent and that probably makes my review better since it was 95° during the day. The Glam tents were great. The resort itself is nice. The restaurant is good, not great for food but the people are nice. Nice. There is a swimming pool that works. While we were there okay, half of the place was closed because of damage from typhoons. You were there at the very end of April, 2026. There weren't many places to hike so there wasn't that much to do.. The Pearl farm...

”Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location? ”

”Glamping in the Kimberly. Nice tents, but very hot during the day. Nice cool pool. Good bar restaurant. Walk to Emma Gorge is tough: hands and knees in places. Do it early, rest when hot, bring water.”

”We had a lovely room with a good sized fridge, stove top, cooking utensils and a king sized bed. We had a lovely continental breakfast every morning (I love the pancake maker!) and the location was central to everything.”

”The unit was cool, bright, clean and has everything you could possibly need. The pool area was stunning, well kept lush, tropical gardens with an abundance of frogs, butterflies and geckos! Stephanie and Sharelle were both welcoming and hospitable. We look forward to coming back. ”
