”The staff at La Quinta Festus were very kind and helpful. They allowed an early check in. The room was..gross. It reeked of mildew. It felt very damp in the room. The shower was peeling from where they had attempted to paint over issues in the tub. And all of the paint on the walls in the room/bathroom was patchy. It worked for a bed for the night, but we won’t stay again.”

”Property was adequate for a nights rest. Maintenance is lacking-shower wall above shower head looks bad. Only one plug in on wall by ironing board worked; Stains on carpet; wash clothes are thin enough to see though. Breakfast had not much to offer for diabetics, no fruit, waffle mix took a very long time to fill cup even halfway. Hot water was Luke warm. I like Super 8 but this one could use some “extra”.”

”They are doing active construction now, messy and garbage all over, it smells too, the rooms are getting renovated, I found water on the floor in the room, the bathroom shower and tub were rusty, the toilet pan was small and misfit with wrong toilet seat. The soap and shampoo were not fitted on the wall. I have pictures of all these if you need. the overall experience was horrible. I tried talking to the staff but they could not help. I would really like a refund for this stay.”

”Everything was so nice, highly recommended. 10/10 The only downside was, bathroom door, barn door, no looks. Perfect for a couple not for family. But my experience was 100% fantastic.”

”It looks as if the property is undergoing a renovation. But it was still worthy of the stay. The renovation was not disruptive, or unsightly. Lots of parking close to a lot of different restaurants. Not far off the interstate as well. Would definitely book there again. ”

”Every time we come to St. Louis, we stay at this hotel. I feel safe here.The rooms are spacious and clean and I always have a beautiful view of the parking lot. Ha. Being from California, the only thing I'm not a fan of is the cigarette smell.... But we do not smell it in the room. The prices are great and we are not that far from downtown.”

”I had written a review of the night I checked in because I was given a king size room versus the two queens that I had reserved. The manager did work on this in the morning and make it right so I do appreciate that. They’re just a couple of issues one being the coffee maker wasn’t working And so you were directed to use the coffee maker in your room. The breakfast selections were very minimal. And the icemaker on the second floor was not working so you had to go to the third or the fourth floor....
