Just 30 minutes away, you'll find the breathtaking New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, where stunning waterfalls and picturesque views await you along the historic Midland Trail. Your journey will take you through Fayetteville, proudly voted "Coolest Small Town in America" and packed with local restaurants, cozy breweries, and adventure companies offering activities like whitewater rafting, ATV rides, and even horseback riding!

Feeling the urge for some city vibes? Charleston, the state capital, is only a short 30-minute drive in the other direction! Check out its charming shops, local eats, shopping mall, and the lively Haddad Riverfront Park, perfect for catching live music or just relaxing by the water.

Our home is nestled in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood where you can truly unwind. Picture yourself roasting marshmallows around the semi-smoke-free fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, or cooling off with a dip in the swimming pool.

Inside, the house is cozy and inviting, comfortably sleeping 4 guests with a king and queen bed. Both bedrooms feature smart TVs (32" and 42"), while the living room boasts a 50" smart TV. We've got your entertainment covered with board games, video games, a DVD player, and a collection of movies. Plus, there's fast Wi-Fi for all your streaming needs!

Need to freshen up after a day of adventure? A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the basement. Please note, the hallway closet is locked for personal use.

For everyone's comfort, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking or vaping indoors.
Pets are allowed, but dogs only. There is a 75.00 pet fee.

We had a great stay in Boomer. Boomer is a small area but close to lots of great activities but be ready for some mountain driving! The house is very nice, and everything was as described. We enjoyed the hot tub too!

Very cute bungalow!

Came to WV to hike and explore New River Gorge National Park and stayed here when we weren’t hiking. It truly was a lovely home and very relaxing! The hosts were very easy to get ahold of and everything was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely place just as described and a reasonable drive to the gorge! Lots of thoughtful touches and the hot tub was great. It’s a little close quarters with neighbours but the curtains around the hot tub make it feel more private

Clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed this clean and comfortable home that was in close proximity to several state and national parks! The home offers everything you need, as well as several types of entertainment, and the hosts were very thoughtful to even provide a basket of snacks. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking and exploring the WV Waterfall Trail.

Cozy Mountain Stay

We had a wonderful stay! It was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pac man machine. Communication with the host was easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

This was our first vrbo experience and it was perfect! Due to a last min cancellation of pet sitter, we had to change our plans and while searching for pet friendly accommodations we found this listing. Great little house. Quiet area. Host was very quick to respond. Enjoyed the hot tub. Easy to find if you don’t follow google. It to us to the end of the street instead of the 2nd house lol. Appreciated having extra towels.

Our stay at the Boomer Bungalow was amazing! My fiancé and I loved every minute of our stay here as we got to enjoy our West Virginia trip. The entire home was very clean and organized with snacks waiting for us when we arrived. From the hot tub to sitting out enjoying the fire pit every night to hitting the current high score on the Pac Man arcade machine (over 33,000 points) there’s always something to enjoy. The Boomer Bungalow will always be a special place for us and without hesitation we will be back for any future trips to West Virginia that we make.

Very cute cozy little cottage. Neighbors are CLOSE, but very nice. On street parking. Loved all the little unincorporated towns we drove through. Just have to drive a few miles for stores.

Nice weekend getaway

My husband and I enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing weekend away here. We appreciated the snacks that were left for us and we loved having the hot tub! The property was only a 30 minute drive to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center and several good restaurants in the New River Gorge National Park area. My husband loved playing the PacMan game! The neighborhood was quiet and the house was very cozy. We had a great weekend here.

Boomer for a boomer

Very nice place to stay to explore both Hawks Nest State Park and the New River Gorge National Park. We hiked each of the days we were in the area and the rental was very nice to return to. The snacks provided by the owner (s) were quite thoughtful. Communication was rapid and accurrate. The kitchen had plenty for us to cook our dinners. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fun family weekend

We stayed in the Boomer Bungalow for a long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The house was clean, comfortable, and decorated very cute. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and even a few extra things just to make the stay more comfortable. We did not get the chance to try out the pool, but the hot tub was great! The neighbors were very friendly and outgoing, and the area felt very safe. We would definitely recommend this house!

Feels like home!

From the very day we booked until our departure we have been more than pleased with the host. Details were communicated very well, and the accommodations were spot on for what we expected. We did not have the chance to take in all the amenities due to visiting family. Thankful they were available if time allowed. When my wife walked in, she said “this is a cozy place, “ but on our last day she said “this is like a home away from home.” I would have to agree. We will definitely book this property again whenever we travel back to Boomer area.
