”A really lovely quiet stay where birdsong and the occasional chicken or sheep are the only noises you will hear. If you want to get away from it all for a few days yet be well positioned to explore Ludlow and the local area then this is the place for you. A car is a must to get around but there are some nice walks right from the doorstep.The property is well equipped, has everything needed for a perfect stay and is spotlessly clean. ”Lovely property. Parking proved difficult to ensure our 4x4 did not block next doors gate. The road was extremely busy whilst we manoeuvred the car as close are we could to the fence. The stone plant pot did not help. Although the garden is lovely the property would appeal more if the lawn was hard core for easier off street parking.”

”Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. ”

”Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.”

”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vicarage Cottage. It is indeed ‘a hidden gem’ and we would highly recommend it to future guests. The sizeable kitchen, cosy lounge, small landing and exquisitely decorated bedroom all contribute towards a most unique holiday destination. All communication with the hosts was positive and helpful. With many thanks to John and Paul for sharing this beautifully restored cottage with us. ”
