Ryokanit – Kioto

”Stayed for one night here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had good amenities. The onsen (bath) at the 6th floor was very nice and had good water temperature, not too hot but pleasantly warm. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast chef was super friendly and spoke good English too - he explained what each dish was clearly. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Kyoto.”

”Amazing experience! Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, close to many attractions. Highly recommend!”

”Very friendly staff, good service and special atmosphere with over a hundred years old building. Two different baths (not onsen) and cozy room. We paid 400 euros (for one night) to get real ryokan experience and spent nice and relaxing time in there. However it was not really worth of that amount of money. ”

”Lovely, quiet ryokan. Beautifull small garden. Lot of young travellers. Cozy kind of youth hostel. With taxis and busses one can reach whatever place. Lovely personel, except the owner whose moods vary a lot depending on alcohol intake. In three nights the mouldproblem in specially naths started to produce healthinfluencies. No smoking-place and in that meaning very pleasant.”

”Really, really good experience. Onsen 6/5 and staff 10+. If you ever have a change go here! ”

”Very clean, professional staff,”

”A wonderful and truly authentic place that allows you to fully immerse yourself in Japanese culture and tradition. The real highlight, though, was the food. I came in with no expectations and was completely blown away by both dinner and breakfast. Dinner could easily pass for a Michelin-starred dining experience, and the yuzu porridge served at breakfast was so memorable that I’ll definitely try to recreate it at home. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!”

”舒適。”

”Henkilökunta erittäin mielyttävää ja tunnelma juuri oikealla tavalla perinteisen japanilainen.”

”Amazing get-away from Kyoto's city center. Public bath (onsen like facilities) were great. Our room was spacious and futons were comfy. Location was in the middle of residential area and the nearest train station was some 900 meters away. We ended up walking to Kyoto train station which was less than 2,5km. Great experience!”

”Ystävällinen vastaanotto, hieno huone ja viihtyisä kylpyosasto.”

”Lämmin vastaanotto, ystävällinen henkilökunta, rauhallinen sijainti. Siistit tilat. Nautimme paikallisen illallisen paikan päällä ja oli hieno kokemus! ”

”Absolutely loved staying here!! Perfect blend of comfort and traditional, would definitely stay again!!”
