Lomamökit – Kirkby Lonsdale

”Small but perfectly formed, just a beautiful cosy little cottage in a gorgeous village, everything you need to enjoy your stay, the kitchen was well provided with utensils, cooker, microwave washer etc, the lounge was cosy with tv & wifi, door to small yard, in summer will be lovely to sit out! Parking a bit tight (our car quite big)but we knew this before we went, so made use of village carpark 2mins walk away,after dropping cases off! Will definitely go again! Loved it!”

”I had a worry that the cottage might be a little small but we had loads of room due to the layout being over three floors. The decor was smart and we had everythign we needed. It was very hot the day we arrived so it was particularly good to have the lounge in the basement. A few little niggles, none of them dealbreakers. ”This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

”Nicely furnished and ideally located flat with nice views. Short walk to Ambleside, very close to bus station where you can take bus rides to nearly all destinations in the Lake District. Flat has everything you need and is situated on the second floor of a nice property located in a beautiful large garden. Highly recommended!”

”Green hill cottage is located on A590 dual carriageway, just 1 miles away from main village. Very beautiful place and spot on Clean all the cutlery is available in good condition amazing views from all windows and garden. Very friendly staff. Very nice nature and animals around in areas. Stunning views.can’t wait to go back again. Looking forward for my next visit in September.”

”Amazing weekend.Bit awkward to find as we came in from kendal way ..Sat nav tookus throughmiles of one car wide road but its a paradise corner with stream and garden areas.. Some cottages residential but very friendly especially John..Also has smart TV and excellent wifi ..4 of us on anniversary weekend.Fully recommended..”

”Comfortable, well equipped 2 bedroom lodge with the living room, kitchen, bathroom, garden, parking space. Very kind owners always ready to talk. Property surrounded by a beautiful nature - green hills, farm animals. Not far are nice trails for hiking. Kendal is only 6 miles away. I recommend this place and I want to come back in the future.”

”Was a nice holiday, great location. Carol looked after us, gave us advice on walks to town and the monument circular. kept the hot tub clean and was responsive to everyone’s needs. Hot tub was a great way to end the day no matter the weather”
