âWe were absolutely delighted with this amazing setting and the beautiful accommodation we were provided with. The spacious cottages are set in a spice plantation with gorgeous plants and trees, exotic birds, animals and insects. The owner Akosh, and his staff, were so helpful and informative and there was delicious vegetarian food served at every meal. We especially loved the natural swimming pool which was a very tranquil place. â

âThis hotel is about 3years old, so it is very roomy and in good shape. Rooms are great if u traveling with kids and staff keeps it very clean and no bugs flying around the rooms. Only problem is that hotels.com tells u u get room with balcony and certain view. that is not possible, cause there is only 10 rooms with balcony... but we did get the balcony room after one day of being there. âHotel was nice. We were staying in luxury room which was spacious and clean. Hotel is not on the beach, which is a downside. You have to walk 500 metres to the beach in really crowded and noisy street. However Colva beach was nice, but is not place for a paradise holiday, which we had in mind.â
âAwesome traditional Portuguese home to kick back and relax. Very friendly staff and the owner is a prince of a guy - Sunny. Would definitely recommend. â
âMain problem is poor service. When we arrived, there was sand on our sheets so the sheets hadnt been changed. Called the reception to change the sheets and none came for one hour so I had to walk to reception and after that they changed the sheets.
The fame restaurant is horrible, the waiters were watching football together when we went there and they paid little attention to us. Food poor and overpriced.

âAlagoa is a lovely resort. Family friendly and also relaxing for a solo trip. For India this resort has good cleanliness & I would certainly recommend. Itâs a 5 minute walk from the beach which is a beautiful spot to relax in. Down side is the taxis are expensive and will do all they can to rip you off. Be prepared for a haggle war! Everything else is wonderful! â
