âThe ocean view room as clearly advertised when booking wasnât provided to us upon arrival, and the management was quite unprofessional and slow in handling the matter, they eventually moved us to an ocean view room (also our room didnât have proper hot water - becomes cold after a min of running- and pool deck wasnât sanded/treated and each of us got numerous splinters from it), but the way they handled it took away from the experience, as well as them charging us for the services that were...

âThe Golden Rock is a one of a kind property and we cannot wait to go back. The cleanliness was a 10/10 and the landscaping was absolutely stunning. The restaurant was excellent for every meal we had. I highly recommend the conch chowder. Thank you Golden Rock! â

âWe would happily give 5 stars to the staff, service, rooms, garden and pool - they are magnificent for a laid-back island holiday.
What we drop the one star for is the somewhat incomplete communication.
Fundamentally, this is an apartment in a 3-story building. No spa yet. On the night of arrival, the independent Yachtsman Grill closed at 6 pm without a warning. We found that out at 6.15 when we tried to go to dinner. Luckily, there is a nice Indian restaurant less than half a mile down...
