”We had a great time at the Ocean Views Cottage. Everything was very clean, my husband loved the bike.From a european perspective, I like to recommend to the owners to have some laundry detergent available, as well as maybe basic seasonings like salt and pepper, maybe oil. Otherwise it was a great stop during our road trip.”

”Outstanding property. Host communication was excellent and the location was excellent. Everything was extremely clean, kitchen was well stocked with essentials, and pool/beach supplies were available for guest use. Literally a couple of minutes walk away from the public beach, and a parking permit is provided if you prefer to drive.”

”Blackbeard’s Retreat was clean, however could use an update. Awesome location, could benefit from an outdoor hose or shower, we needed to rinse off with the neighbor’s hose. It suited our needs for a couple days. ”

”The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...

”We had a great stay! The cottage was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The decor was cozy and welcoming, and the beds were soft and comfortable. The kids’ room was thoughtfully set up. We especially enjoyed the back porch overlooking the golf course—it was such a peaceful spot to unwind. The hot tub was a great bonus and made our stay even more relaxing. Our hosts were accommodating and kept in near-instant communication, which made everything smooth and stress-free.”

”Taylor’s house is in such a great location at end of cul de sac. communication was always quick and accurate. such a special experience being able to take pets with us. great access to wonderful beach, yet home feels like you are in your own private retreat. ”

”Our 3 Ducks is a great place to stay. I had my 3 grandchildren with me. Plenty of room, easy walk to the beach, easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Duck. The house is well supplied, very clean and very comfortable. The kids found plenty to do and I enjoyed the screened porch. The home owners couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would stay here again, no doubt. ”

”My spouse and I needed a little separation from all the life's influences. This place fit the bill perfectly. Right across from the beach so we could hear the water. The ease of access to said beach couldn't have been better. Already have 2 more planned.”

”Great property- had everything we needed. Close to downtown Duck, yet far enough away where we weren’t in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Easy access to Corolla and points South. Located on a private street with access to the beach, a quick 5 minute walk. The pool was a great escape when we needed a break from the hot sand. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need!”
