”This property was very cute and cozy. It was not far from anything. It was a very quick drive to the beach or to the grocery store. We are happy it had two bedrooms so my husband and I could stay in one and our almost one year-old in the other. This property is also dog friendly so that made this quick vacation a whole lot easier on us. ”

”The house was exactly as it was shown, the owners very helpful and responsive. The location was perfect, close to so many fun things to see and do. The closeness to the beach and use of the beach chairs wagon and toys was so appreciated. ”

”The property is in a great location close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc., 2 minutes walk to the beach on the ocean side, 20 min drive to the soundside beach. 40 min drive to the nature preserve with the wild horses. Very clean. The house itself needs a little TLC, but this did not affect our stay at all. ”

”If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Charming and very clean. We liked the old obx atmosphere - with a nice update. Great location with ocean views. The pool was refreshing with ample chairs. There’s a crow’s nest with pergola. Screened in porch on cottage 11 was spacious enough to have dinner outside and still have room to hang towels. The property was well kept. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...

”Christine and Paul are wonderful hosts and their home is perfect for multiple family members, children and pets. The weather at the beginning of the week was not great, but we still enjoyed our family time. Our granddaughter LOVED the upper deck crow’s nest. Weather improved as the week went on and my husband caught enough fish for dinner. Life is good at the beach! Thank you for your hospitality. #blessed”

”Dog friendly 4 bedroom 2 bath house. Outdoor stairs easier for some to get to second floor. The spiral staircase inside is not ideal for people who may have mobility issues. Comfortable temperature control. W/D in good working condition. Limited cooking utensils. May want to bring favorite pots/pans if you’re planning on meal prep. We all felt very comfortable staying there and the location is tops!! Centrally located and close to beaches, shops, restaurants , etc. Two very friendly cats live...

”This was a great spot for the 2 of us and our dog. You truly cannot beat how close to the ocean you are. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach the best. A lot of sand gets tracked in because it is on ground level. We had a broom but no dish pan so we just used paper plates to try and clean everything up. Kitchen was fine, nice fridge and everything worked. The only downfall was that there was not an outdoor shower! If you decide to stay here, bring a 5 gallon bucket to fill up with to try and wash...
